Where does the Heavy Metal ?

Heavy Metal is genre of rock music that developedin the late 1960s and early 1970s, in large partly in England and the United States. As having the bluesroots rock and psychedelic rock, the bands that created the genre developed a thick, massive sound, characterized by high ampligied distortion, extended guitar solos, and emphatic beats. The Allmusic states that "of all formats of rock 'n' roll, heavy metal is the most extreme in terms of volume, machismo, and theatricality."

Who introduced the Heavy Metal ? And who made it known ?

The fist heavy metal bands such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple attracted large audiences, a common attribute in the entire history of the genre. In the mid- 1970s, Judas Priest helped spur the genre's evolution by removing much of the blues influence in this fist generation of British metal, Motörhead indroduced the aggression and anger in the voice, influence punk rock, and an increasing emphasis on speed. Bans of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal such as Iron Maiden followed suit. Before the end of the decade, heavy metal had attracted a following of fans worldwide known as "metalheads" or "headbangers" and as "metallica", althoungh within the realm of heavy metal subculture or the term is considered derogatory and quite repudiated by most aonnoisseurs of the genre.
